Art Exhibition: Florence County Museum Exhibits Work of Alice Smith

This exhibition will be an introduction to the work of early 20th century South Carolina artist Alice Smith and her continuing artistic legacy in Southern art. It will coincide with the publication of Alice: Alice Ravenel Huger Smith, Charleston Renaissance Artist. Exhibition runs July 13 - December 5, 2021.

Book Talk: Mattapoisett Bay Club

A book talk to celebrate the release of Alice will take place on July 16, 2021 at the Mattapoisett Bay Club, a Golf Course & Country Club in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts. Alice's brother Mason Smith was a summer resident of Mattapoisett and Alice frequently visited his family there.
